The only additional fees that apply are when you purchase goods (not the subscription itself) using PayPal as a member. An additional 3% of your basket total will be applied due to the inherent costs PayPal applies to merchants. (We can’t stay in business if we lose money – no fees apply for using other checkout methods).

You won’t be charged a penny for the free trial and if you don’t like it, simply cancel from within “My Account”. You only get one trial per account, so make the most of it! On the 8th day, if you haven’t cancelled, you’ll automatically be charged for the annual subscription (£20 including tax).

- Why are member prices so low?
We want to help people save money! That’s it. We could charge full price for everything, but with the cost of living crisis of 2022 and 2023, we want to help you take full advantage of saving money.
- How does it work?
You need to purchase, or trial for free, this subscription. Once you’re a member, all products in the Discount Den catalogue will drop from retail price to your member-only prices. Simply checkout as normal.
- Why should I join?
By doing so, you’re supporting a UK family business with cost-saving ethics. Our suppliers are all UK based. So, you get UK shipping (if you live here too), 30 day return policies and your data is covered because we’re registered with the UK’s ICO (Information Commissioners Office) which means we have an obligation to keep your personal information safe and secure.
Products:
- How do you compare to other retailers?
For guests, there isn’t much price comparison, but if you do find it cheaper elsewhere, we’ll drop our product’s price to match! Many businesses can’t survive on a 5% mark up. They have their bills, their running costs, just like we do. However, Rokm is strictly online-only (for now) so our business fees are limited to an office rental and website running costs (oh and the tax man)!
- Do you ship from China?
Absolutely… NOT! We firmly believe that if you buy cheap, you get cheap quality – and you have to wait for international shipping. However, Rokm’s Discount Den is purpose built to save you money, where as Chinese retailers such as Temu and Wish base their prices on often shoddy and short-lasting quality. Sadly, they often don’t recycle materials, or use recycled shipping materials. ALL our products are shipped from UK suppliers. And if, something gets lost in the mail, we’ll send out a replacement at no extra charge.
Orders & Shipping:
- Can I return my order?
Yes. Provided the packaging is unopened and the item is undamaged. Simply contact us and let us know you intend to return so we know to expect your order. Upon safe return, you’ll be refunded minus the cost of shipping your order to you.
- My order arrived damaged or is lost. Can I get a replacement or receive my money back?
Yes! We will ensure you are not out of pocket, if you can allow a few extra days for a replacement to arrive. Just email us or create a new ticket in “My Account” and we’ll arrange a new replacement for you, no extra cost! If we’ve run of out stock, a full refund will be issued (including shipping). If your original order has not arrived after 10 working days, we will resend your order, or refund upon request.
UK lost items: Please allow 10 working days from date of dispatch for your order to arrive.
International lost items: Please allow 30 calendar days from date of dispatch to arrive.
- I’ve got a multiple shipping charges in my basket. Why?
Your order will be up of items that come from different warehouses across the UK, which means multiple dispatches. If you’re a Discount Den member, you’re still making super savings off the retail price, but because suppliers set the shipping fees, we can’t offer any shipping savings in these instances. One day in the future, we will though, when we have our own warehouse.
Collecting Points:
- How do I collect points?
Points are earned when you make purchases. £1 spent = 1 point earned. 1 point is equal to £0.01.
- How do I spend my points?
Head to my “My Account” and click the “My Points” tab. From here you can view your balance and select how many points you’d to redeem. You’ll need at least 500 points (£5.00) to redeem. Once redeemed, you’ll see a code appear which can be used as a coupon at the checkout page.
- Do my points expire?
Your points collected don’t expire, but once you redeem for money-off, you’ll have 30 days to use your redemption code.
- I need to cancel my order/get a refund. Will I get my points back too?
Yes. When a refund is issued to you, your points are also returned and reapplied to your points balance. If for some reason your points don’t appear when a refund is issued, please let us know so we can check what’s happening and manually issue if needed.
