Rokm Crystals

Rokm Crystals is home grown business. Starting out in one young man’s living room with a small cabinet of crystals. Rokm Crystals, through the use of social media and live selling shows to Rokm Customers, it’s now a UK Limited company and quicky expanding business.

Devoted to nature’s gifts of crystals, stunning rocks and beautiful man made creations (both in shape and material).

We like to think so! There are many businesses and sole traders who use the term “Ethical Crystal Supplier” or words to that affect, but in fact are not, so you have to be careful. To be an ethical business there are many factors to consider:

  • Who are the miners or lab grown creators?
    • Are they receiving a fair income to support themselves and their families. Are they working in safe conditions and using basic health and safety equipment? Do they use child labourers? Are they sourcing or mining crystals legally?
    • Is a crystal shop buying from ethical wholesalers or direct from miners?
    • Does the shop purchase from countries such as China? If they do, there’s a high chance that the rocks sourced have been bought from many poor countries such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, Brazil, Indonesia and Brazil (not limited to) and well below a fair trade price.
    • China is a worldwide major exporter of crystal and stone goods. Sadly, it is also a major producer of trademarked contraband such as Disney products and crystals manufactured or enhanced to resemble other crystals. Search online for “fake crystals.”
  • Rokm no longer imports crystals from China. Instead we, use reputable UK Wholesalers that have a good ethical policy.
    • Sometimes we import crystals from other countries if certain items are not available in the UK Wholesale stock. However, we only use suppliers where we can guarantee that all legal and ethical challenges have been met.
    • We’re open about where we source our stock. If you wish to know more, please contact us. We’re proud supporters of safe mining, anti child labour laws and exceeding minimum living wages. We know our suppliers and how and where they source stock.

We hold a combination of crystals and rocks. Rocks are 100% natural products.

However some crystals are available that carry a “man made” or “enhanced” product label (seen on the main product selection page and in the description). This is to let you know which crystals are grown in laboratory conditions or enhanced beyond their natural composition. Handy, in case you want to limit your search to natural-only, or doing research on man-made crystals.

We re-use materials that come in with stock shipments as well as using clean, recycled materials. All our boxes sent out to customers are recycled and recyclable. The packaging inside is either recycled shredded paper (dyed with natural and chemical free colourants) and/or wrapped in bubble wrap or foam that we have gained from Rokm Stock orders (we don’t purchase ANY plastic based materials). The only part of the packaging that isn’t currently recycled is the packaging tape to hold your order box together. We’re looking at ways we can make this more environmentally friendly.

We recommend you create an account in order to keep track of your past and present order information.

You do not need an account to place an order. We don’t supply paper receipts unless you are outside the UK. So if you lose the email receipt, you will need to contact us here if you need help with your order or for identifying crystals.

You may also miss out on personalised or member-only special offers if you do not have an account.

We love Super Payments! This method helps us retain 100% of the order amount, while we give you some of the savings back in the form of an additional discount at checkout. This method uses the latest encrypted checkout security and we can issue refunds immediately without you having to wait up to 10 working days for other refund methods.

By using Super, we can invest more into our stock, keep prices low and run more efficiently.

Other methods available include Bank Transfer (Business Account), PayPal, PayPal Pay In 3, Major Debit and Credit Cards. It’s worth noting, we incur payment transaction fees for these methods and we recommend using Super Payments to help us during the 2022 and 2023 Cost Of Living Crisis but we certainly won’t discriminate if you choose these methods – we like to make sure all bases are covered 🙂

It is possible to cancel an order, provided that your order has not been shipped. If you receive a “Your Order Is Complete” email, your order cannot be cancelled. However, once your is received by you, you can return your order for a refund (fully refunded minus the cost of shipping if shipping was paid in addition).

Yes! You have 30 days to to return your order for a full refund (minus the shipping costs if this is on your order). If your order included free shipping, the full amount will be returned to you minus a small administration fee of 10%. This covers the cost of packaging materials used to pack your order, time spent to restock the item and the dreaded transaction fees we can’t recover from refunding. You can see our full refund and returns policy here so you know exactly what to expect when you order.

Refunds are issued by the same method your order was created. If you used Super Payments, refunds arrive within 2 hours of issue and all other payment methods can take up to 5 working days to arrive back in your account.

We have set out instructions on our Refund and Returns policy. Essential to know – you are covered! You may need to send us photos of damaged packaging and/or goods for both yours and our reference. But you will likely be refunded in as little as 48 hours after letting us know there is something wrong (dealt with on a case-by-case basis).

You have 14 calendar days from the date your order was delivered to let us know.

All orders or shipped within 48 hours or if the order is received during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday or Bank Holiday), your order will be shipped within 2 working days of the new week.

We take great care in packing items and wrap each crystal individually, which can take a little time, and extra care, especially to more fragile items.

If we’ve made the mistake of sending the wrong order, we’d ask you to contact us so we can send you a paid-returns label. We can email you the QR Code which you simply take to the delivery office and they will scan and print the label.

If we’ve missed an item on your order, let us know and we’ll send out the missing item or offer a refund if the item is no longer with us.

Rokm Events

Rokm Events is part of Rokm LTD. It serves the community in 2 ways.

  1. Local events in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, host by local and nationally recognised mediums and psychics. They’re a ball of fun, with access to a drinks bar. We organise events with different mediums to host the evening so no two evenings are the same.
  2. Rokm Trade Fairs is an opportunity for small businesses and visitors in the general public, alike. Engage with small businesses who sell items in giftware, ethical and sustainable goods, offer metaphysical healing, psychic and medium services and other types of stalls. Visitors are welcome to attend for a tiny entry fee – it’s well worth it!

Tickets for events will be available on this website (rokm.co.uk) and on eventbrite.co.uk 

We’ll advertise on social media (Facebook), by email – so ensure you sign up to emails – and eventbrite.

The guest speakers we bring in for our events are acclaimed psychic and spiritual communicators. Some even offer their own 1-to-1 reading sessions. Some travel around the country as high profile hosts, while others keep their gifts more local.

By the time you arrive for the evening show, we’ll have splashed some facts-and-figures around on social media about our guests – all in good light of course for your information.

All our spiritual evenings are held locally in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. We have access to 2 venues, but most will be held at The Lounge, 2 Bath Street, ILKESTON, DE7 8FB.

Full event details will be listed on our website when bookings are available.

Medium and Psychic Nights: Both venues for the psychic and medium nights are limited in terms of disabled and wheelchair access. Both The Lounge and The Little Acorn have groundfloor access, however there are no WC facilities available. While we desperately want to make these facilities available, the building structure doesn’t physically permit the space to implement (sadly, Rokm doesn’t own the rights or have authority to make these changes). Our most sincerest apologies.

Trade Shows: The premesis we rent for the trade fairs will be access-friendly for limited mobility guests. We’ll ensure that they are clean and also come equipped with baby changing rooms.

Discount Den by Rokm LTD

Discount Den is, on the basics of things, a membership website for the general public that offers shopping with 0% to 10% mark up on all items.

It means that, depending on the level of membership you buy, all products are sold at source-level costs.

For example, Product A costs £5.00 to buy from the supplier. It retails in for £12.00 (including tax for example sake) when comparing to other retailers such as ebay, Etsy, Amazon and other gift retailers. Discount Den members can purchase for a heavily reduced price of £5.25.

Guests (non-members) will pay the retail price.

As explained briefly in the previous point, customers pay to subscribe, which gives access to member-only prices (members pay 0% to 10% mark-up price from the supplier cost value).

You can’t beat them prices (unless we skip the supplier and go straight to the manufacturer – but that won’t happen – we like to support our UK based suppliers) 😉

The most important benefit is that you get access to thousands of products drastically under priced. If you’re sceptical, go ahead and try it for yourself. We offer a free 7 day trial (which you can cancel at anytime).

Compare at your leisure – we’re happy for you to find an item you like on Discount Den, and then compare the membership price to other retailers on Google Shopping. We show both the guest paying price and member only prices for transparency.

Discount Den is for B2C – Business to Customers. Anyone can join, both UK and international residents.

It would be inappropriate for us to market our items to other businesses, as they can source the products themselves.

B2B customers, please head straight to the wholesaler’s websites to purchase your goods for retailing. (I mean, we’d love to serve you, if you really wish, but why pay for membership fees if you can freely access the products you need for your business, on your own merit)?

At present we only hire out seats for super low prices starting at £2 per seat.

At the moment, rentals are pick up and drop off by the hirer. If business continues to grow, we’ll be investing in our own transport vehicle to bring the seats to you.

We don’t have a set area – if you can collect and deliver, you can rent our seats and other equipment.

However, our ideal customers are located in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire districts.

Nope! Prices include tax. It’s worth noting here if you are late bringing back a seat rental, you may be invoiced a late fee. There are no additional charges, unless your rental overruns. Everything is written in black and white on your Rental Agreement (Hire Contract).

We do charge an additional Security Deposit in proportion to the rental, but if you return all your seats on time and undamaged, we’ll return the deposit to you.

Booking online is pretty straight forward. When you come to collect your rental, you’ll need to bring 1 form of photo ID and 1 proof of address (unless your photo ID shows both). You’ll be given a Rental Agreement which will need to be signed before the seats can be taken away. Please allow 10 minutes on arrival to complete your booking.

Yes you can. However, you’ll need to drop a text, call or Whatsapp us so we can be available to collect your rental and return your deposit.

Yes. As with any business we may not always like contacts, but it provides a level of security for our customers (as we have a commitment to you to provide safe and good working equipment) as well as security for us that customers will bring back our equipment for hire.

Please bare in mind that if you return the equipment late, usually by more than 24 hours, you may be liable for any loss of income from cancelled rentals with other customers due to take place after yours.

Our hire contract (rental agreement) and terms and conditions contain all our late return fees and will be explained to you when you sign the contract.

In some instances, we may overlook late return fees on a case-by-case basis as we understand life can be complicated!
